I missed the beautiful adventures of July, it was in my record, the best month I've ever gone through, for some personal reasons that I shall not mention because you probably won't care all that much anyway. Curtains down on July and ...
Hello AUGUST! The good times should just keep on coming, shouldn't they?
And what better way to start the month rolling than to be tagged and flagged up by a Blogger Friend I've never met but who gives me all the reason in the world to keep on writing? Yep... Ms Rose from Rose' World has just awarded me with tada ...
I know a lot more of you out there are more versatile than me, more unique, more special, more talented, more grammartically and politically correct ... but like all of you, I take all my readers seriously and I appreciate all of them. So, Thank you Ms Rose for the award. You do warm my heart.
She did mention that I need to state 7 facts about myself, as part of the condition of accepting this virtual recognition, little, as it may be. Here I go -- painstakingly keeping a lot of things private while showing you a glimpse of the real person behind the name -- spelling out randoms facts about myself:
1. I am just recently taken off the market, so you can forget about me writing depressing stuffs in here ever again. I know some people (sometimes me included) who feeds on other people's depression and misery that they bother to put online (yeah, the dark side of us all), but hoooo yeah! Enough about that. It's finally time to write about happy stuffs. Told you it'll be a good year.
Sorry, I tend to babble and be wordy when I'm excited, but next!
2. I drink coffee everyday, not all the time, but at least once a day. It runs in the family, that caffeinated bloodline and all... Wait, you already know this useless fact.
3. I am more of a jeans and tshirt person. But I occasionally wear a casual dress for outing when I feel like it.
4. I'm not crazy about durians, but I love tempoyak (fermented durian).
5. I have changed jobs for the 5th time, including this current one, throughout my whole life. But if you count the part time ones, that'll be 11th jobs in all. Thank God for the wage that pays my bills.
6. I am a phone-with-keypad person. I loath touch screens. But somehow, I gotta start learning it because hey I gotta move right along with the IT revolution right? sigh...
7. I kiss my parents everytime I go back to my own place. If I leave without doing that, I would feel miserable the whole week, like something's missing. Someone from my past once told me I should never stop kissing my mom or dad just because I'm all grown up and they're old. They're the only ones I have, while I still have them.
So that's the 7 facts about me. Useless, all of them, right? :p
And with that, here's wishing you a lovely August, and a nice weekend!

Writing does pay ...
Oh hey!
And so, yours truly was debuted in today's New Sarawak Tribune under the column "Blogger Says", a weekly publication of articles written by members of the Sarawak Bloggers.
Thank you Sarawak Bloggers for being so encouraging, supportive, and supercool about this project. And for a little promo: If you're a Sarawakian, and you happened to blog, join the Sarawak Bloggers group, it's a non-profit club. They have a lot of great activities for members, and if you haven't noticed, Sarawak Bloggers is everywhere now and getting famous by the minute! Thanks to Cyril and the gang who co-founded it! Proud to be one of them! If you want to know more about how you can be a part of the project between the New Sarawak Tribune and Sarawak Bloggers, go check out the site.
So it seems like I don't need caffeine today because being picked to start the ball rolling for all other talented bloggers out there is apparently enough to get me superexcited. Hahaha.
Anyway....
YEAY! GOOD JOB COFFEE GIRL! What a way to start the year!
P/s: I think people I know including my siblings, and some others, will be heading this way, so self-censorship is going to be implemented, and it will hurt me more than you. Sigh.

I am April Blogger of the Month ... you all ...
(Halt! Mental escape for a while... while the boss is out. Sempat!)
It is APRIL already people. Dang! but the months just keep on coming. Felt like February was just yesterday. And soon it will be June. Sigh.
Ok back. I got a delightful surprise today. Yours truly has been picked as Blogger For the Month of APRIL 2011 by Sarawak Blogger. My mood shot from groggy to chirpy within seconds. What drug. To think that something as small as that could brighten up my whole day. Even that pile of paperwork on my desk and numerous other tasks in my head seemed bearable somehow. And I haven't even had coffee! Imagine that.
BUT. I am humbled. Totally. Because I don't deserve it. You know what this means, don't you? This means
Ok .... Get back to work! State Election is looming. All eyes will be on Sarawak. I feel the chill, don't you?
Happy April everyone!

- I must try harder to make myself understood between those lines I wrote. Because not all people read the same. And not all feel the same. Being misunderstood is so frustrating, particularly on a sensitive subject. And there are 2 reasons how that can happen: One, the reader is confused. Two, the writer is. But then again, sometimes people tend to purposely misunderstood you. Yes. What is with that?
- I must stay here indefinitely in this domain because I love my readers. I know I know, I ranted about the whole idea of a blog is about being written and not about being read. -- Ok I quoted that from a movie. Take a wild guess. It has Amanda Bynes in it. -- But then, you know, if nobody reads you, still, what is the point? Half the fun is getting comments. And the other half is collecting your own circle of network. No matter how tiny the circle is. Quality over quantity.
- I must find time to join these activities organised by Sarawak Blogger. They are all so noble, good and sometimes just for fun... but in this line of work, I find I hardly even have time for myself. Sigh. Wish I have a duplicate. But if you do have time, do join them. All these networking activities like the Tomorrow Leader's Summit, PC with some big shot, etc, ... that is something beneficial to you. It's not everyday you meet Puan Sri Ragad you know. :-)
- I have a reputation to keep. Just like everyone else.
- I must keep up appearance. Like I said before, I truly admire those who constantly do.
Ok .... Get back to work! State Election is looming. All eyes will be on Sarawak. I feel the chill, don't you?
Happy April everyone!
